Introduction

Hello to new and returning wrestlers and parents. We are glad to see all of you in our program this season. We have a lot to cover this season for the wrestlers and the parents. I hope this opening newsletter will cover most of what to expect this wrestling season. We have rules, roles, committees, and faces in the crowd that all of you should get to know.

When you enrolled your son in this program, you should have received a folder with this newsletter and other necessary papers. I'll cover a topic about each insert in your folder. First, lets introduce the staff of the South Western Youth Wrestling Association.

Head Coach - Dave Sterner 717- 637- 5298
President - Tony Brallier -  717- 632 - 2669
Vice - President - Charlie Bowman - 717 - 633 - 9236
Treasure - Christine Oglevee -  717 - 633 - 7725
Secretary - Mary Ellen Klecker -  717 - 637 - 9606

About The Organization

We are an organization of volunteers who give our time and efforts in providing every child an opportunity to learn fundamental wrestling in a youth group. We encourage parents to participate in helping the organization provide this service for the love our children. We would hope you would provide your child(ren) support in this youth group. Show them you care.

Our staff will be responsible for how the organization is functioning. This includes bulletins, notices, fund raising, organizing committees, cash flow and rules to follow.

Our coaches are responsible for teaching instructional wrestling, enforcing rules, and volunteering their time on the weekends to coach individuals participating in matches or tournaments.

Handouts and bulletins sent home

During the season, bulletins, reminders, directions to match sites, and tournament applications will

e sent home with your child. Ask your child if he received any papers at the end of practice. We understand that the papers magically disappear between the end of practice and the car trip home. If the paper(s) end up missing, call the secretary or any of the staff and they'll inform you what is missing and you can make arrangements for replacement if necessary.

Computer Users! We are on the net!

We have an e-mail address and a web site. The e-mail is SWYWA@HotMail.com. The new home page is located at www.geocities.com/jc_wrestler/. The secretary periodically updates the web site and reads the e-mail daily. The site will contain useful info on pertaining to coming events, bulletins you might have missed, directions to matches, or possibly meeting minutes. Any questions pertaining to the organization can be sent to this e-mail address or call a staff member.
