The YORK COUNTY YOUTH WRESTLING LEAGUE is comprised of elementary wrestlers between the ages of 5 and 13, who wrestle for teams located in the York County, Pennsylvania area.

Currently there are ten (10) teams in the league:

  • Central

  • Dover

  • Hanover

  • Northeastern

  • Red Lion

  • South Eastern

  • South Western

  • Spring Grove

  • Susquehannock    

  • West York          

Each team wrestles the opposing teams in a tournament type format. Wrestlers are paired up based on age, weight and EXPERIENCE. Typically a team will host two other teams on Saturday mornings during the league schedule, which is scheduled around local tournaments.

Our season is highlighted by a season ending league tournament where trophies are awarded.

The league stresses that the teams should put little or no emphasis on winning. Our focus as a league is giving 100% effort all the time, continuous improvement and teaching the proper technical and philosophical aspects of our great sport.
